Walloon Government supports renovation project of the former Thermal buildings of Spa

The City of Spa received excellent news from the Walloon Government. Over the next five years, the renovation of the former thermal buildings will be rewarded 4,5 million euros. The complex, called ‘Les Bains de Spa’, a masterpiece by architect Léon Suys (1868), was listed as a monument since 1992 and in 2016 it has been labeled as ‘exceptional Walloon heritage’. 'Erfgoedbeheersplan zes monumenten binnen het Park van Tervuren' approved

We received great news from the Heritage Agency of the Flemish Government. The heritage management plan for six monuments in the Park of Tervuren has been approved. The management plan will soon be published online. SumResearch, in collaboration with SAVE & B. Van der Wee Architects, developed this management plan in close interaction with 'gemeente Tervuren', 'Agentschap voor Natuur en Bos', 'Regie der Gebouwen' and 'Agentschap Onroerend Erfgoed'.

Sum @ Archi Urbain: Tram 9 and 94

Archi Urbain, the architecture programme of BX1 tv, highlights two projects of Sum: Tram 9 and the extension of Tram 94. Tram 9 connects metro station ‘Simonis’ with the site of ‘UZ Brussels’. Tram 94 is an extension between the ‘Tram Museum’ the ‘Woluwe Shopping Center’ and metro station ‘Roodebeek’.
