SumProject + SumResearch joined the Brussels Days in Washington DC and New York. The Brussels Days are set up as a promotion event to show the world what Brussels has to offer.
The aim of the Brussels-Capital Region during these days is "to strengthen its position on the international stage, make optimum use of its economic potential, demonstrate or confirm its talents and know-how, highlight its cultural riches and its way of living. Brussels is a city that dares to tackle its ambitions and design large-scale projects".
Brussels is way ahead with its regulations regarding ‘passive’ housing. Passive housing is mandatory. We now talk about ‘positive’ housings… Brussels is sharing its experience abroad. In New York The ICE cube challenge was massive success, showing how important good insulation is on the internal comfort in the buildings and reducing energy consumption for a better and sustainable development challenging the world climate chage. .
