'Erfgoedbeheersplan Begijnhof Lier' (UNESCO World Heritage) approved

We received great news from the Heritage Agency of the Flemish Government. The heritage management plan for the ‘Beguinage’ of Lier (part of the serial nomination of the Beguinages as UNESCO World Heritage) has been approved. The management plan will soon be published online. SumResearch, in collaboration with B. Van der Wee Architects, developed this management plan in close interaction with the 'OCMW Lier', 'Kerkfabriek Sint-Gummarus', 'Stad Lier' and the inhabitants of the Beguinage.

'Flanieren In Brüssel' - Sum in the prestigious 'Garten + Landschaft'

'Garten + Landschaft', the prestigious German magazine for landscape architecture, dedicated an article 'Flanieren in Brüssel' to our ‘Brussels Low Line' project. This publication, once more, highlights the international awareness about the project and the profound transformation of the historical Brussels city centre is undergoing. Inauguration Tram 8 Louise-Roodebeek

On September 28th the new Tram line 8 has been officially inaugurated by the Brussels Regional Government. The ‘tram line 8 Louise-Roodebeek’ is designed by the SumProject urban design team. The first images of the new Tram LINE 8, along the boulevard de la Woluwe, with its own green bedding connected to the parks (NATURA 2000). For a better life and a sustainable development of Brussels, European capital!
