The preparatory works for the new public transport node in the neighbourhood of the 'Bruxelles-Midi' railway station - including the new Metro station 'Toots Thielemans' ('Constitution') designed by SumProject - are progressing well.

Last Friday, a site visit has been organised to explain the challenging work the team of SumProject, as well Systra and Bureau Greisch (engineers) has been working on to resolve the mobility node, near 'Bruxelles Midi', in order to run real metro trains through the 'Nord-Midi connection' as part of the new metro 3 line.

The works regarding the underground infrastructure itself should start in June 2020!
