Our colleague, Marc Appelmans, had the honor to participate at the Belgium-China workshop on ‘Sustainable urban planning and Architecture’ coordinated by Victor Dulait (HUB) with interesting presentations & exchanges by Belgian and Chinese experts.

Marc had the opportunity to present the 'Brussels_Low_Line' transforming the historic boulevards of Brussels into a ‘Linear urban park’, a project designed by SumProject.

The workshop was followed by a site visit of the redevelopment of Dachong, a large multi functional urban area in Shenzhen with professional guides of UPDIS, the Urban Planning & Design Institute of Shenzhen. A project developed in co-operation with the British architects Foster & Partners.
