Marc Appelmans had the opportunity to participate, on behalf of SumProject + SumResearch, in the Smart Sustainable Cities mission to India, organised by the Awex and HUB Economic Representative Hubert Goffinet of the Belgian Embassy in Delhi. Among the Belgian participants: SumProject + SumResearch, Multitel, the initiators of ‘Le Jardin des Lébioles’, a sustainable village project in Lessives (Belgium), Famoco, Tractebel India ....

SumProject + SumResearch presented the involvement of the team into energy and environmental related studies throughout the last decennia and in particular with the BSBC, the Belgian Sustainable Buildings Council and with the creation of a National Tool for the measurement of the degree of sustainable development in different kinds of projects.
