Masterplan 'Jubelpark' Vision 2030  | Brussels

Since 2021, SumProject has conducted a series of comprehensive feasibility studies to guide the large-scale revitalization of this prestigious site. These studies initially focused on the Art & History Museum and KIK-IRPA, exploring innovative solutions such as large-scale underground collection storage and strengthening the spatial relationship between the two institutes.

By late 2023, the scope was expanded into a preliminary master plan for the entire building complex. This macro-level study evaluated scenarios for the War Heritage Institute, Autoworld, and new exhibition circuits for other actors, as well as the surrounding public spaces and underground infrastructure.

In February 2024, these findings were synthesized into a long-term executive summary. This master plan provides a strategic framework for informed decision-making regarding priorities, phasing, and budgeting, ensuring the site’s future value through 2030 and beyond.
