Max wins 'Maarten Bouwen' prize

Our colleague Max Vanhalst has won, together with his fellow student Britt Van Rompaey, the 4th ‘Maarten Bouwen’ Prize for their thesis "Woonweefsels in meervoud: een ontwerpend onderzoek voor de 21e eeuw" (promoters Bruno De Meulder and Guido Geenen) because of their daring and innovative way of working, their brilliant graphics and their inspiring ideas.

Britt and Max designed two collective housing experiments in different urban tissues which provide an answer to the current housing needs. The designs aim to contribute to a more diversified housing supply and production in the future.

Congratulations to Max and Britt!
